He went on to post-graduate studies at the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University.
In 1987, Todd moved to Mississippi to head up several bank acquisitions for Deposit Guaranty. Continuing his banking career in the Mid-South area, he led several divisions for National Bank of Commerce in Memphis and has been with BankTennessee as chief executive officer since 2001.

Todd enjoys teaching and conducts seminars on topics such as leadership and sales development skills. He is often requested as a speaker on financial issues by both broadcast and print media.
Todd is passionate about de-stigmatizing and finding a cure for Bipolar Disorder. Over the years, he has witnessed first hand great, accomplished people in both his personal and professional world decimated by bipolar. He has also seen that it can be managed once the individual recognizes, accepts and treats this illness.
